What kind of clothes do you usually wear?
I usually wear comfortable cotton salwar-kameez or simple kurti with leggings for college and everyday use because they’re easy to carry and suit the Punjabi climate. When I go out with friends or for family functions, I like wearing jeans with a nice top or sometimes a stylish Anarkali suit. In the summer, I prefer light pastel colours and breathable fabrics, so I don’t feel too hot.
Do you prefer comfortable or fashionable clothes?
I definitely prefer comfortable clothes over purely fashionable ones because I spend most of my day moving around college or doing household work, so comfort comes first. That said, I do like clothes that look good and feel nice at the same time—like well-fitted kurtis or jeans that aren’t too tight. So, if something is both stylish and comfortable, that’s perfect for me.

Yes, my style has changed quite a bit. In school, I mostly wore very simple salwar suits or a school uniform, and I didn’t think much about fashion. Now in college, I’ve started trying more western outfits like jeans, crop tops, and palazzo sets, and I also pay attention to accessories like earrings or dupattas to make my look more modern and personal.

I follow fashion trends to some extent, especially on Instagram, where I see a lot of reels about ethnic-western fusion wear or summer outfits. If I really like something—like oversized shirts, flared pants, or statement jewellery—and it suits my body type and budget, then I’ll definitely try it. But I don’t blindly follow every trend; I still choose what feels right for me and my lifestyle rather than wearing something just because it’s popular.
